PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING

We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable data protection regulations. Statement on Collection of Personally Identifying Data for the Purposes of Registering for Equestrian Competitions

We are required by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) policy on Competition Entries to collect certain identifying personal information on each individual who is an owner, trainer, rider, coach, driver, handler, or payee on a Competition Entry. This information is only shared with Competition Organizers who use the Show Management System for Electronic Competition Entries and with the USEF.

Types of Information We Collect

Mandatory Information

We are required to collect the full mailing address and USEF or Foreign Federation membership numbers of all individuals and entities listed on a Competition Entry as an owner, trainer, rider, coach, driver, handler, or payee. Furthermore if an individual or an entity will be receiving prize money from a Competition we are required by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to obtain the Social Security Number (SSN), Tax Payer ID (EIN), or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) for that individual or entity.

The Show Management System requires a valid e-mail address for the user submitting the Competition Entry.

Individual Competition Organizers may also require the e-mail address and phone number of all parties on a Competition Entry.
